Working in Columbus

Columbus is Georgia's second-largest city, with 206,922 people in 2020. The city and Muscogee County merged in 1970, and Phenix City, Alabama sits right across the Chattahoochee.

I-185 runs north to south through the middle of the city, with nine exits in Muscogee County. It runs about 50 miles north to I-85 just east of LaGrange, which is the route we take to get here.

Peachtree Mall and Columbus Park Crossing are the big shopping areas. The Chattahoochee RiverWalk runs 15 miles from downtown to south Columbus and Fort Benning, and the river has the longest urban whitewater course in the world.

Columbus is a big city at the far edge of our range. North Columbus, closest to I-185, is the easiest part to reach. Call first and tell us your I-185 exit or the nearest cross street.

It's a long way down I-185 from LaGrange to Columbus. Booked work like brakes and diagnostics is the most reliable option.

North Columbus is served most often. Call to check other areas.
